Candace has walked many paths, from serving in the military to earning a doctorate in veterinary medicine. A career as a veterinarian evolved into a position with the federal government on an endangered species reintroduction project in Colorado. Currently she is a biologist in Florida, still helping to preserve and protect threatened and endangered species.
Along each of these paths, writing has always been a creative outlet.
