Candace has walked many paths, from serving in the military to earning a doctorate in veterinary medicine. A career as a veterinarian evolved into a position with the Bureau of Land Management on an endangered species reintroduction project in Colorado. Currently she is a biologist with the National Park Service, still helping to preserve and protect threatened and endangered species.
